Important Update: Vincent Payment Solutions

The Vincent Payment Solutions system is used for paying research participants and individuals for purposes such as per diems, reimbursement, project expenses, team events, etc.

We are committed to continuing to support payments to research participants and other individuals using the current system. However, we want to share that we are currently exploring alternative payment options that best support the needs of the University that could potentially replace Vincent Payment Solutions system in the future. It is important to note that in the near-term, there will be no disruption in service.

We will provide ample notice and information about any changes to ensure that study coordinators and other users can train and incorporate any software or procedure changes. No action is required at this time.

In the meantime, please continue to use the Vincent Payment Solutions system. The cards are valid through the expiration date on each card. Check back for additional details and the latest updates related to this upcoming change.

For any questions related to the Vincent Payment Solutions system, including the management of existing Vincent cards, please contact Purchase Pay & Travel Customer Service via an online inquiry to Payment Processing > Vincent Card Management.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do we need to be concerned about Payee cards expiring or not working?

  • All cards that have been assigned to Payees will be good until expiration and they will have access to all their funds and receive support via the phone number and website on the back of the card.
  • If the Payees card expires and can no longer be replaced, or the card is blocked due to suspected fraud or similar, they should contact the number on the back of the card (Paynuver) for resolution or to request a check for the remaining balance.
  • It is recommended that Payees use their funds or remove their funds from their cards soon after the funds are loaded to avoid dormancy fees and card expiration.
  • Dormancy fees apply and the dormancy clock starts at the last load activity. Payees should use their funds within 365 days of their last load (this should always be the case).

How should Vincent Payment Solutions system Users/Research Administrators manage existing inventory of cards until more information is available about potential future changes?

  • The University has an adequate supply of remaining Vincent cards spread out among Vincent Payment Solutions system Users/Research Administrators. Because of this, the University does not currently plan to place new orders for additional cards.
  • It is recommended that system Users/Research Administrators closely monitor their card inventory and work together to share the existing inventory of cards, to avoid a surplus of unused cards or potential related costs.
