You are receiving this email because our records indicate that you made a purchase from University-wide Contracted Supplier, Matheson Gas, over the last year. We are aware of delivery delays caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, including labor shortages, that may be impacting supplies ordered from Matheson Gas. We have been working with Matheson Gas to address these delivery issues and anticipate that these issues will be alleviated in the coming months as Matheson has assured us that it is hiring and training additional drivers.
To avoid delivery delays:
- Ensure the delivery information such as building, floor, room, lab name/number, etc. are correct when submitting a purchase order for products from Matheson Gas. Errors with this information can contribute to delayed deliveries.
- All orders must be processed through the PantherExpress System. Please refrain from sending any orders directly to an individual at Matheson Gas.
