A new ink and toner recycling program is now available! This exciting new program is offered by SUPRA Office Solutions, the University-wide Contracted Supplier for office supplies, in collaboration with ODP Business Solutions (formerly Office Depot). To expand ink and toner recycling opportunities, departments can now collect and ship the cartridges directly. This new program supports Pitt’s sustainability goal to reduce landfill waste by 25% by 2030, while providing a significantly easier process for departments to recycle ink and toner. Follow these steps to participate in the program:
- Register on this page.
- Order cardboard collection boxes, which must be used to participate in the program, available through the SUPRA punchout in the PantherExpress System for only $0.01. Item number: 650988
- Download and print prepaid shipping labels from the MyBusinessRecycles website.
- Attach shipping label to your cardboard collection box and place the box in outgoing mail.
For additional ease and convenience, a mixture of both ink and toner cartridges can be shipped in the same box.
