A reminder that requests for software will be moving from the Software Standard Form to the Software Request Contract template in Contracts+ effective January 2, 2024. The PantherExpress System Software Standard Form will be inactivated at 5 p.m. on December 21, 2023.
Please note, in order to make the Contracts+ update, the PantherExpress System will be offline December 27th from midnight until 2:00AM and it will be offline on December 28th from 8:00AM to 8:00PM
Contracts+ is a module in the PantherExpress System that allows individuals with the proper permissions the ability to submit contract requests. Visit this page for additional Contracts+ training materials and information. As the requests for software transition into a Contracts+ request process, Contracts+ will provide the following benefits:
- Improve visibility into spending on service, conference and event, and supplier provided contracts
- Maintain visibility for all stakeholders into the status of all contracts during the contract life cycle from request, through development, execution, expiration.
- Improve planning for contract expirations through notifications.
- Simplify the process of requesting contract assistance and contract execution.
- Ensure accurate allocation of actual contract costs and accurate budget encumbrances across multiple accounting periods.
- Reduce audit risks through more effective contract management processes.
