Supplier Spotlight: Live Fresh Juicery

Welcome to the latest edition of the Supplier Spotlight series that features local and diverse University suppliers. This series is designed so that you can get to know each of the different suppliers and the stories that brought their businesses to life. This month we are excited to shine the supplier spotlight on Live Fresh Juicery, a University of Pittsburgh supplier which features a curated menu of cold pressed juices, smoothies, acai bowl, homemade nut mylks, and wellness shots.

Owners of Live Fresh Juicery, Brett Gilliam and Catey Gilliam (Burget) founded Live Fresh in June 2019 in Homestead, Pennsylvania and have since added three new stores located in: the North Side, Regent Square and on the Pitt Campus at 4000 Fifth Avenue! Their menu combines health and flavor so be sure to stop in to pick up your favorite menu item at the location nearest you.

As a reminder, spending with local and diverse businesses is an institutional priority. The University has established goals, some as part of the Plan for Pitt, to support community and economic development by increasing spending with local and diverse businesses. Spending with Live Fresh Juicery, a local and black-owned business, is one way to help support these goals.
