You're Invited! Return to Travel Virtual Series

Purchase, Pay & Travel is pleased to announce a new virtual Return to Travel Series. The goal of this virtual series is to provide information and resources to ensure a smooth transition as many University staff and faculty members begin returning to travel. The series will feature multiple travel-related topics, presented by industry experts and University providers.

The first sessions in our Return to Travel series is presented by Anthony Travel, the University’s Contracted Supplier for travel management services. These sessions provide an opportunity for you to meet Anthony Travel agents, highlight how Anthony Travel can assist you, discuss important information you need to know about travelling, offer important resources, and an interactive Q&A period.

Enterprise

This session is presented by Enterprise Holdings, the University-wide Contracted supplier for car rentals available through Enterprise and National. Representatives provide an overview of their offerings including benefits to University travelers for booking through Enterprise and National, including details about the Emerald Club. They also discuss the current car rental market which has been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The session on November 17 is presented by Southwest Airlines, one of the preferred airlines for applicable University discounts. Representatives from Southwest Airlines: provide an overview of their offerings under their agreement with the University, including benefits to University travelers; discuss sustainability initiatives; review how they are protecting travelers during the COVID-19 pandemic; share the locations to which they fly direct from Pittsburgh. Answer trivia questions for the opportunity to win prizes!
