TreeFree Paper

Important update: TreeFree (formerly TreeZero) paper supply is currently constrained. Please visit this page for the latest information about supply constraints and alternatives.

In 2019, many office supply prices increased, including the price of paper.  Purchasing Services worked with University-wide Contracted Supplier, SUPRA/Office Depot to introduce TreeFree (formerly TreeZero) paper as a cost-effective alternative to virgin or recycled paper. TreeFree is made from 100% sugarcane waste fiber (not tree pulp) which means the price of TreeFree paper is not impacted by increases in the paper industry.

The University has negotiated a favorable price for TreeFree paper that is less than the cost of virgin or recycled paper and can be found in the SUPRA punchout in the PantherExpress System.

TreeFree is 100% recyclable and carbon neutral making it a smart solution for the environment as well as your budget.
