Unless they are part of the setup of a new building or new lab involving Facilities Management, the purchase of these items require approval before they are purchased. Approval should be attached to the requisition in supporting documents.
Chemical Fume Hoods and Gas Cabinets:
- Require approval from Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S)

Biological Safety Cabinets
- Require approval from the Office of Biorisk Management (BRM)
