Concur Travel Email Issue

We want to make you aware of a known issue affecting some Concur travel bookings that may have caused airline email and text notifications to be routed to a travel approver rather than the intended traveler.

What Happened

A platform-wide glitch in Concur caused travel approvers’ contact information to be pulled into bookings instead of the travelers’. As a result, itinerary updates and flight alerts were sent to the wrong recipients. Please note: This was a Concur system error and was not caused by Anthony Travel or University staff actions.

Current Status

  • Resolution: Concur has identified and corrected the underlying issue.
  • New Bookings: Reservations made after March 24, 2026, are not affected.
  • Existing Bookings: Contact information on previously issued tickets cannot be retroactively updated in the airlines’ system. Please follow the guidelines below for travel affected by this issue.

What You Should Do

  • Travelers: Utilize the airline’s official app or TripIt for real-time updates. You can also contact your travel arranger or Anthony Travel to verify your trip details.
  • Approvers: If you are receiving notifications for a traveler's booking, these alerts are temporary and will end once the trip is completed. As this is a known issue, no PPT Customer Service ticket is necessary. If you know the traveler the trip notifications are intended for, you are welcome to forward the emails to the intended traveler.

We apologize for any confusion or inconvenience this issue may have caused.

If you have questions or concerns, please contact Emily Duchene, Travel Program Manager.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.
