Mobile Phone Program Fees

Please review the following information for guidance and clarification regarding fees incurred by phone holders through the transition within the Mobile Phone Program (MPP).

A previous MPP communication stated your phone carrier (Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile) may advise that your transfer may include an early termination fee or offer recovery fee. This fee will be covered by the University if incurred. Please note the fee should not appear on your personal phone bill, but on the last phone bill that Pitt It Telecom receives tied to your personal phone number.

This is the only fee covered by the University. All other fees including a deactivation fee, service disconnection fee, plan fee, etc. are the responsibility of the phone holder. If you are switching carriers, it is advised that you confirm if any additional fees will be included due to the transition. Visit the Purchase Pay and Travel website for more information about the Mobile Phone Program.
